Intel has not disclosed which nodes will be supported by the initial module of the latest factory, but since it may be put into operation as early as 2024, the factory may use Intel 4 and Intel 3 manufacturing technology to manufacture chips. The production capacity of the new facility has not been disclosed.

Gelsinger further said: "We are in contact with some states around the United States today. They have provided us with suggestions on site location, energy, water, environment, nearby universities, and skills and capabilities. I hope to announce these sites before the end of this year.".
